The Rec Council is Hiring!

The following positions are open. Apply today for the opportunity to boost your leadership skills, to make a positive difference in the Rec Center and to build an impressive resume.

Vice President
· Works cooperatively with the President
· Assumes the position of President in case of Presidential absence
· Conducts all elections
· Leads Staff Olympics initiative
· Assists the President in planning the calendar of Student Council events
· Completes other duties as assigned by the President

Marketing Chairperson
· Acts as a liaison with the marketing department of Campus Recreation Services
· Works with University Marketing as it relates to the Rec Council
· Prepares all posters and fliers
· Designs marketing pieces
· Collaborates with other units and student organizations to establish special events
· Act as a liaison to Campus Recreation Services Special Events Committee
· Completes other duties as assigned by the President

Community Service Chairperson
· Seeks community-needed projects and brings them before the Council
· Develops and implements monthly community service initiatives
· Implements on-going community service events
· Collaborates with other units and student organizations to establish partnerships
· Works with Viking Expeditions to ensure Campus Recreation Services representation at events
· Completes other duties as assigned by the President
